Matcha is a fine powdered green tea, made from Tencha (cut tea leaf) on the stone mill. Matcha has traditionally been used for the tea ceremony.
It’s perfect for drawing out the flavors of Japanese confectionary and cuisine.
It’s made by grinding tea (green tea) grown in the same way as Tamaro under direct sunlight and grinding it with a stone mill. Since you drink the tea as it is, you can get nutrients that are insoluble in water.
